Wesley Academy of Early Learning accepts children ages 6 weeks old through Pre-K without regard to ethnicity, creed, or ability. Children must meet the class age by September 1st in order to align with the state kindergarten requirements. We prioritize enrollment to currently enrolled children and siblings first, then Wesley UMC members, followed by the general public.
Interested parents should call the Director and request the required paperwork and schedule a tour of the Academy. Upon completion of the enrollment packet and receipt of the registration fee, the child’s name will be placed on the appropriate class list. Registration for preschool and after school students will be held in March of each year. Registration for summer school students will be held in February.
Enrollment of your child is finalized upon receipt of a completed registration packet and receipt of non-refundable, non-transferable annual registration fees. The Academy reserves the right to drop any child from enrollment whenever it appears to be in the best interest of the child and/or other children in the Academy. A two-week written notice will be given to the parents. Likewise, parents may withdraw their child from enrollment upon a 30-day written notice.
WAEL operates 12 months per year filling classroom vacancies as they arise throughout the year. Vacancies created from withdrawals will be filled immediately. Families that would like to cease enrollment and later decide to re-register will be enrolled on a first come, first served, space-available basis or put on our waiting list for a $15.00 per child fee.
